Credit system

Our Conservatory applies the academic credit transfer system (ECTS). The system is based on the workload of a student for a specific course. Workload indicates the time students typically need to complete all learning activities (such as lectures, seminars, projects, practical work, self-study and examinations) required to achieve the expected learning outcomes.
60 ECTS credits are attached to the workload fulltime during one academic year (1500 hours), 1 ECTS credit is assigned to 25 hours of student’s individual work. The teaching staff define the learning outcomes of each programme component, describing the learning activities and estimating the workload typically needed for a student to complete these activities. Before the start of mobility the two institutions sign the Learning Agreement, a document that facilitate the transfer of learning experiences, through a complete list of studies and related expected credits.
