The Ferrara Conservatoire of Music is pleased to invite proposals for the symposium The Children’s Opera: Practices, Audiences, and Perspectives, to be held on 28 June 2025 at the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara, Italy.
The symposium seeks to explore the diverse and evolving landscape of opera for children and young audiences. We welcome interdisciplinary contributions that address the cultural, performative, and pedagogical significance of children’s opera in both local and international contexts.
